Shari serves as an Extension Educator and provides leadership to Family and Consumer Sciences in Licking County, Ohio.  As the outreach arm of the university, Shari uses research-based programming to make a difference in lives of people in the areas of diabetic education, health and wellness, food safety education. Shari has served as past president of Ohio Nutrition Council and provided organizational leadership in developing a national diabetes committee. She is also a Certified Health and Wellness Coach® and works collaborative with county, regional, state and national extension professionals as well as with local government and agency leaders.
