Restoring Stability: A Save the Dream Ohio Initiative

AmeriCorps volunteers are available to help homeowners with the Restoring Stability application process as well as connecting struggling homeowners to local and free Housing Counseling Agencies.

The OSU Extension office has recently added AmeriCorps team members throughout the state of Ohio to promote awareness and conduct outreach for Restoring Stability-Save the Dream, a program of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, to assist those facing foreclosure and those who have suffered a hardship affecting their ability to make mortgage payments.

AmeriCorps volunteers are available to help homeowners with the Restoring Stability application process as well as connecting struggling homeowners to local and FREE Housing Counseling Agencies.

The Ohio State University has begun a new fund-raising campaign to support students from all 88 Ohio counties. The "Ohio Scholarship Challenge" seeks to raise $100 million in general undergraduate scholarship funds for Ohio State students at all campuses. This Challenge is also part of the university’s larger effort to raise $500 million in private funds for student financial aid and scholarships.
